What is my approach? I look for the brilliant sanity within the challenges. I draw from many different counseling modalities. Positive psychology, Behavioral Psychology, Acceptance Commitment Therapy- ACT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-CBT, Play Therapy, PCIT, Family Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Contemplative Therapy – to name a few!
How is my work going to help you? You don’t have to rely on what I’ve learned in books, or in trainings, that might work.
You can get support based on 20+ years of experience on what *will work.* I also bring time tested, research based skills from trainings, mentors and brilliant practitioners.
Being deeply seen, heard and understood is it’s own healing.
I offer a grounded presence from 25 years of mindfulness meditation. I have a few years of Improv Comedy experience, so we can find the joy and humor at times as well.
